Ben got 2 birthday parties. I would like to say that that makes him a lucky boy but I am not so sure about that. He pretty much spent them both crying- just like his big brother. Only his big brother didn't have to go through the ordeal twice...
The first one was at the Hatch home after Sunday dinner. First we had him sit with his presents and apparently that was traumatizing.
Then it was time to light the cake and of course Tyler had to use a torch. Look at him stare down that blow torch--- Awesome!
So when it came time to sing we attempted to sing softer than normal and covered his ears in hopes of preventing some crying and surprisingly that worked.
As always, Tyler allows our children to cut their own cake (close your eyes CPS officials)
My handsome, and very tired, one year old.
