What May Has Brung...

This morning Steven requested water with his waffle. I replied, "You need to have milk instead. It will make your tummy happy." His reply. "Is my tummy mad at me?"

Steven has had a pretty big problem lately with talking about bum bums. Perhaps you recall the whole case of him shouting "You've got a big bum bum" to me in Walmart? Lately he has been receiving much grief and occasionally a bit of soap due to this "dirty" talking. Because of this Steven has taken it upon himself to make sure that others have language that is just as clean as his is expected to be. If you say anything about a bum bum you can be sure that you will be given a very serious look and a stern warning, "You want soap?" Once he even went so far as to climb unto the bathroom sink, pump a little soap on his finger and return to his father to enforce his threat. So to all who associate with Steven, you best watch your language!

I love my little Batman (aka Ben). Now he is crawling around with ease and actually pulling up onto furniture out of his own freewill. I'm sure walking is not too far away.

Ben has mastered the grunt well. He loves to point at things and say "Oooo!" He also has been caught saying what sounds very much like "Hi." It could just be me and Grandma thinking him smarter than he is though.

When Ben is done eating he loves to throw his food. So fun. I have tried to teach him sign language for "all done" but he much prefers the throwing. Although occasionally he'll wave good bye instead which works for me- anything's better than picking up food from the floor.
