Last weekend we went to IHOP and since kids eat free for once he was allowed to pick out his own entrée. Of course he immediately pointed to the chocolate happy face pancake and then his mommy of course redirected him to the non-chocolate happy face pancake. He was still very excited about his happy face pancake and must have said about 50 times, "Happy Face coming?" Once received he was a little hesitant to actually eat it so we had to tell him we were cutting some ears for the happy face. When all was done, Steven had eaten a lot of "ears."
Awhile ago Steven discovered his shadow. He pointed to it and asked, "Monster?"
Steven has now become a huge fan of turning off the lights and he usually do this while I am nursing. He also now scoots chairs around everywhere so he can reach places that he really shouldn't be reaching. Annoying.
But on a sweet note, the other day Steven grabbed my leg and totally unprompted said that he loved me.
And he has taken to saying, "Good morning! You sleep good?" He often says this one while I am cooking dinner.
