Snapshots Into Our Lives

My little Benjamin is growing up...He nurses four times a day. On weekdays he wakes up around 5:45am still. And my nice little man sleeps in on weekends until 6:30/7. Ben is eating his "solids" twice a day and still the messiest little eater ever. Ben's also growing an adorable little tooth but it's not such an adorable process. He's been pretty cranky and he's doing a good job of convincing me to stop nursing soon if you catch my drift. Plus it would be nice to have more than 10 minutes to eat my lunch. This pumping thing at work is killing me anyways.

Ben is rolling over a little more and he can sit up by himself for like a minute straight before he topples over- it's quite impressive!

Tyler is as busy as ever but of course always finds a moment to torture our children (even if it's not until right before the children go to bed). Above is a picture of one such torture. This past conference weekend was nice because Tyler was actually home on a Saturday and not doing homework (cause we had to use his computer to watch conference). I actually was able to paint my nails while watching conference- very rare that I get to do these things.

This is Steven after we made some cookies this weekend. My goodness is this child messy. All he does is make messes lately which drives his anal mother crazy. He especially loves to pour pennies everywhere and Legos. This needs to stop though, now that Ben is grabbing everything near to him and shoving it in his cute little drooly mouth.

Aren't they adorable? Especially when Steven commanded me to kiss him the other day. Why of course I obliged that command. Or when Steven asks "right?" after saying things. Or when Steven presses letters together expecting them to come alive like they do on Word World. Or when Ben gives one of his award winning smiles that lights up the room. Or when my two boys giggle together over something totally random.

Yes motherhood has been extremely challenging with my dear little Steven who throw fits on a regular basis, falls down the stairs for the second time in his life scaring me to death, and Ben whining over that tooth coming out BUT it is all genuinely worth it.
