Tyler celebrated his 27th birthday this past week with a BYOM (bring your own meat) BBQ held at our house. We had his family and my family there and it turned out really well. The kids did some swimming and Steven had a fun time because he was able to borrow his cousin's life vest. Tyler got all the toys he wanted (2 LEGO sets and a robotic arm) and some clothes as well. I also decided to be a chef for the day and made some homemade bean salsa for the first time that ended up being a hit and was eaten quickly. I also made his cake from scratch and I think it turned out pretty good. All and all a great party!
