This year for Halloween we attended the Ward Party which was a smashing....failure. Steven was in a horrendous mood and threw multiple fits because he did not want to wait in line to play games and he did not want to leave games. We ended up leaving without even eating any of the chili. It was quite depressing. At least Ben was in a pleasant mood and at least both of my green children looked adorable (despite the lousy makeup job by me).
Yes, he cut in front of a few other kids to play... And then would not leave. Figured I should document his evilness before the fit began.
After we left the party we headed over to Tara's house so Steven could go trick or treating with his cousins. Her neighborhood was doing trick-or-treating Saturday night (the night before Halloween) so we were able to trick-or-treat without breaking the Sabbath. This went a little bit better...Minus Steven throwing a fit because he didn't want leave the hay ride that took us to different parts of the neighborhood. Steven had a difficult time saying "Trick or treat" and it kept sounding like he was saying "Gimme Treat." (or maybe he really was saying that...). Ben helped pass out candy with his aunts and was a chill little boy as always.

Sunday (the actual holiday) we had dinner with my parents, dressed up the boys so Grams and Poppy could see them and then helped pass out candy. Neither Steven, nor Ben were too happy about putting their costumes on again...lame-o's!
